Holy Night takes me to my grandma's lap, sitting
in front of the radio, at Christmas, listening to
my dad sing on the radio, WJR in Detroit...snow
falling, the fire crackling, my grandma singing
along in a whisper, tears welling up in her eyes
for the love of the music my dad brought to us all.
The music chosen for this new CD, "When I Think
of Christmas..." speaks its own language of
love and healing. My prayer is that
these songs transport you to a moment in your life
so precious you are filled with the joy of being
alive.

The title of this CD, "This One's For You…and
Me" (2000) , holds a lot of meaning
for me as a singer. This collection was borne out
of a life time of music, love, laughter, heart-break
and passion.

I decide if I want to sing a song is simple. If it
makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up and
my fingers tingle, then I know I want to sing it.
In choosing these songs that move me so deeply,
it is my hope that they will move you as well. I
wanted this CD to be a love letter to my friends.
