vocalist of the year", Leslie Kendall
has appeared in nightclubs and concert venues nation-wide,
including Caesar's Palace. She has recorded for Warner
Brothers, M.C.A. and Columbia Records where she was
the featured soloist with the Percy Faith Orchestra. |

She
has been a commercial actress in L.A. and performed
for AIDS fund raisers with actress Meredith
Baxter. Since moving to Ashland, Oregon,
Leslie has appeared in "A Broadway
Holiday" at Town Hall, several appearances
at The Old Siskiyou Barn, the "Martin Luther
King Celebration" at the Britt Ballroom, "Follies
- Concert Version" and "Killer Cabaret"
with Rogue Music Theatre, and the Gala Opening of
the Ginger Rogers Craterian.
At
the grand opening for the Mountain Avenue Theatre
Complex in Ashland, Ms. Kendall
performed a sold-out concert for the Ashland Schools
Foundation. An evening of intimate jazz is on the
2001 calendar for the Craterian's Spotlight Series
featuring Leslie's unique vocal style.
Leslie
sings regularly with the Jefferson State Jazz Orchestra,
an eighteen-piece big band founded by James Church,
currently under the direction of David MacKenzie.
She also enjoys singing with her eight-piece Little
Big Band, Leslie Kendall and The Jump Daddies!
at weddings and special events. You might also catch
her singing with an intimate classic jazz trio, duo,
or performing her cabaret act accompanied by piano.

the exciting CD release of Leslie Kendall's
"Leslie Kendall & the JUMP DADDIES"
is available at locations throughout Southern
Oregon.
Leslie
shares her love of singing and performing as
a teacher and vocal coach. She offers private
lessons, classes, and workshops.
